ASB Priorities
St. Rumbolds Fields Estate, Tingewick Rd:
Issue: Increased reports of ASB on the estate linked to a limited number of properties.
Action: Extensive work with partners including Housing and Social Services and seen a drop-off in incidents reported to Police and partners.
Buckingham Town Centre Residential address:
Issue: Increased reports of ASB linked to one residential address in the town centre.
Action: Closure Order/CBO’s applied for and obtained for repeat offenders. Seen a decline in incidents reported to Police in relation to the address.
Buckingham Town Centre:
Issue: ASB/Trespass/Criminal Damage in and around Town Centre
Action: Individuals identified, Problem Solving Occurrences setup and work with partner agencies instigated and ASB legislation used to intervene early with individuals and their families.
Bridge Street Skate Park:
Issue: Reports of ASB and minor assaults amongst school aged children
Action: Increased high vis patrols and engagement with skate park users at key times.
Chandos Park:
Issue: Reports of ASB and Drug Use
Action: Increased high vis patrols and engagement at key times and positive action taken when applicable.
Steeple Claydon Village:
Issue: Reports of ASB and Drug Use
Action: Increased patrols in response to Neighbourhood Watch information received. Proactive and positive action taken where applicable and ASB Hotspots patrolled regularly.
Other Crime
Burglary Series:
Burglary Residential series linked to cross boarder offending. Investigations are ongoing and positive action taken to identify and locate offenders.
Community Engagements:
- Monthly Have Your Say events at Tesco’s Buckingham / Calvert Green and other sites. New sites actively being sought to engage with a range of groups within the community.
- Attendance at Schools / Cub Scout Groups / Buckingham University and village fetes etc are ongoing.
